About the work:

Caged examines wild animals in habitats designed by man to mimic their natural environments. Zoos and aquariums are changing from simply displaying animals to protecting them. As we take over the animals natural environments, their cages become even more important to protect them from man. It is man's encroachment on these environments that results in "Caged". This series is a reflection of wild animals in captivity. As humans do we understand the long term effects of wild animals in manmade habitats and what is the best way to keep the animals caged
